Anaerobic Power Biogas Benešov was initially purchased by Flabeg in 2018. Formed in 2009, based in Benesov, Czech Republic. APBB treats biowaste from household food processing, industry, supermarkets, and restaurants in Prague and its suburbs. The plant processes 25,000 tons of organic waste a year, which produces 8GWh of electricity, abating 4,000 tons of CO2 per year. APBB is a pioneer in methanization in the Czech Republic, utilizing anaerobic digestion to convert waste into biogas
About APBB
APBB Benesov, a Joint Venture between Suez SA and Flabeg-RE, is an anerobic digestion plant based in Benesov, Czech Repbulic. Suez SA purchased a 60% stake of APBB Benesov from Flabeg in 2023, where Suez brings their technical expertise to help manage and expand APBB-Benesov’s operations, alongside with management from Flabeg. In addition to the JV, APBB also partially owns Via Solution, which aims to integrate additional technology and processes in APBB and Anaerobic Digestion plants around the world.

APBB has their own proprietary waste pre-treatment process which ensures that anaerobic digestion process receives the highest quality organic matter
VIA Solutions brings their own efficient treatment technology for organic waste. Via Solutions has also recently developed their own technology to convert biogas to other green energy sources.
